Toyota of Tacoma | Paid Training | $35K–$53K


Toyota of Tacoma is hiring an Entry-Level Technician—but this is not just a basic oil change position.

You’ll start with maintenance, but you’ll also work alongside experienced technicians, learn real repairs, and build the skills needed to move into a full technician role.


If you want to become a line tech—not stay stuck in lube—this is where you start.

  

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, inspections) 
  • Complete multi-point inspections and document findings 
  • Assist technicians with diagnostics and repairs 
  • Learn how to troubleshoot and fix real vehicle issues 
  • Keep workflow moving and support the shop

Requirements

 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. 
  • Prior experience as an Express Lube Technician, Automotive Technician or education with an Automotive Technical school preferred  
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • A high level of personal motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed. 
  • Basic mathematical aptitude 
  • Ability to understand and apply common sense. 
  • Clean driving record  
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen.
