We are seeking a Technical Project & Process Manager - eCommerce Operations to serve as both an execution owner and a systems architect for how cross-functional work operates.
- Delivering medium-scale, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, and
- Designing, standardizing, and optimizing the operational systems that make execution predictable and scalable
You will not only drive projects to completion, but you will also refine workflows, ownership structures, documentation standards, and governance rhythms that determine how effectively teams execute. This is not a coordination-only or PMO role. It requires strong systems thinking, operational judgment, and the ability to release measurable improvements that reduce friction and increase execution clarity.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Ownership & Delivery
Own cross-functional eCommerce initiatives from planning through launch
Translate ambiguity into clear scopes, timelines, dependencies, and risks
Surface tradeoffs and capacity constraints early with recommendations
Ensure launches are well-communicated and stabilized post-release
Maintain disciplined execution hygiene (clear DRIs, decision logs, scope control)
Audit cross-team workflows to identify bottlenecks, unclear ownership, and rework drivers
Design and release standardized execution frameworks, SOPs, and planning templates
Define and track measurable process KPIs (cycle time, throughput, rework, escalation frequency, planning accuracy)
Drive early adoption and iterative improvement of new processes
Strengthen governance rhythms and evolve the operating model as the company scales
Deliver concise, executive-ready status updates and risk summaries
Facilitate meetings with clear agendas and documented outcomes
Maintain a reliable single source of truth for plans and decisions
Use AI tools to increase speed and clarity while maintaining quality, judgment, and ownership
Process Architecture & Optimization
Communication, Documentation & AI-Enabled Execution
Qualifications & Experience:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitatively rigorous field
5-8+ years in technical project, program, or operational management roles
Proven experience in independently delivering cross-functional initiatives
Demonstrated experience redesigning workflows or improving operational systems (not solely timeline management)
Strong analytical and systems-thinking ability
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Responsible use of AI tools to enhance execution quality
eCommerce experience
Technical PM, software, data, or automation background
Experience in establishing execution frameworks or operating models
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methods
PMP or similar certification

Tools & Skills:
Project & workflow tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Confluence, etc.)
KPI tracking, dashboard interpretation, and bottleneck analysis
Documentation and SOP creation
AI tools for planning and analysis
Strong prioritization, tradeoff analysis, and structured problem-solving
What Success Looks Like:
Within 3-6 Months
Independently managing multiple cross-functional initiatives
Delivering measurable process improvements with defined KPIs and documented releases
Increasing planning consistency and DRI clarity across teams
Reducing cycle time, rework, or execution variance in at least one workflow
Lowering leadership intervention through stronger systems and governance
Establishing durable execution standards adopted across major initiatives
Improving delivery predictability and cross-team coordination
Demonstrably reducing execution friction, escalations, and workflow inefficiencies
Within 9-12 Months
