Art Camp Counselor - Part Time

About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and creative individuals to join our team as Part-Time Art Camp Counselors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children in a fun, energetic environment and is excited to support a positive camp experience through structured activities and attentive supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities for early drop-off students and engage them in art-based projects

  • Provide attentive supervision during camp lunch periods, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment

  • Support smooth daily transitions (arrival, lunch, and hand-offs to instructors)

  • Encourage positive behavior, participation, and social interaction among campers

  • Communicate effectively with camp leadership regarding any issues or concerns

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children (camp, school, childcare, or similar setting preferred)

  • Energetic, patient, and reliable with a positive attitude

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage groups of children in a structured yet fun environment

  • Interest in art or creative activities is a plus

Schedule Details

  • Early morning availability required for drop-off supervision

  • Midday availability required for lunch supervision

  • Specific hours will be determined based on camp schedule
