This position will consist of Both Medical Assistant Duties & Front Office Receptionist Duties. All members of our staff contribute to our success by being flexible enough to manage Front & Back Office responsibilities as needed throughout the week.

This Position will consist of Medical Assistant Duties including:

- Rooming patients & taking medical histories & vital signs

- Coordinating with Providers on patient care

- Responding to patient inquiries

This position will also consist of front office duties including:

· Scheduling appointments

· Responding to patient calls

· Prior authorizations

· Data entry into Electronic Health Records

· Scanning and faxing

· Teamwork

· Excellent customer service

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Comfortable interacting with the elderly and disabled

· Strong computer skills

· Hard worker

· Enthusiastic

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Strongly preferred qualifications:

· Knowledge of Medical terminology

· Electronic Health Records experience (Athena)

· 1+ years’ experience as a Medical Assistant

· Spanish fluency

Pay Scale/Ranges:

$21.00-$39.50/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
