ADP Job Title: Electronic Design Engineer, Senior
Position Overview: The
Electronic Design Engineer, Senior will utilize specialized in-depth knowledge to
develop, design,
and support broadband high-speed optical/electrical interface products. Will
demonstrate conceptual and practical expertise in electronic design challenges
and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specialized in-depth expertise
in the design, drafting, test, and release of new products, devices, circuits,
and/or systems. - Be responsible for all design
activities assigned by project leads. - Function as a resource to develop team atmosphere together
with our transistor designers, our application, and device engineering
teams. - Provide clear status reports by collecting, analysing, and
summarizing simulation/test data. - Work with our chip leads to enable Product Engineering group to transfer products to production.
Key Competencies & Skills Required:
- In-depth
understanding of a variety of Analog/RF/mmWave circuits and systems. - Strong
ability to propose creative solutions at IP level - Fluent with relevant electronics
simulation tools, software, (Cadence, ADS) and test equipment (Spectrum Analyzer,
Network Analyzer, etc.). - Fluent in Electro-magnetic
and/or Electro-optic simulations, thermal simulation. - Awareness with integration and experience designing for
high yield and low cost. - Specialized knowledge of the operation and
calibration of industry standard test equipment. - Experience
with the design of evaluation boards including both electrical and thermal
aspects. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- MSc or PhD in Electronics Engineering
- Minimum
of 4 years of Analog/RF IC design experience.
