Summary

The Maintenance Clerk administers the accurate tracking and management of maintenance, operations, and engineering management systems. This position will be actively involved in day-to-day operations supporting Maintenance Management using JD Edwards CMMS software and other computer-based systems. Search for, identify, and order parts needed for repairs. Accurately enter information into various systems in a timely manner. Ability to work rotating shifts, straight shifts (nights or days) and weekends as business needs require.

Essential Job Functions: Include but are not limited to the following:

  •  Opens and Closes Work Orders
  • Inputs the craftsmen’s labor hours.
  • Prints W/O’s and pick tickets.
  • Orders non-inventory parts and tracks non-inventory items.
  • Coordinates Oil Sampling
  • Manages Asset Management Systems – E1, Safety information systems, Asset Tracking, Inventory Management, Overtime Equity, Vacation Scheduling, Time Entry
  • Communicates Operations Needs with Maintenance Foremen and Managers
  • Prepare Daily Activity Reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Maintenance Foremen and General Foremen
  • Requires working in an underground environment.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Computer proficiency Microsoft Office word, excel and CMMS systems
  • Maintenance experience in industrial or mining setting is preferred
