    Essential Duties:   Academic Interventionist

    Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job listed above;
    Valid Arizona Teaching Certification and five years of teaching experience; Knowledge and experience in implementing Response to Intervention; Knowledge and experience in the development and evaluation of academic interventions
    Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

    Preferred Qualifications
    Master's Degree in Education
    SEI endorsement preferred
     
    Employment Information: 2026-27 school year; 216 days (new teachers); start date July 8, 2026 (new teachers)

    Salary link: Certified
     
    Future Requirement K-5:  Literacy Endorsement (unless you hold a Reading K-8, Reading K-12 or Reading Specialist K-12 endorsement)
    Timeline:

    • Teachers who were certified on or before 8/1/2025 have until 8/1/2028 to obtain the literacy endorsement.
    • Teachers who certify after 8/1/2025 will have 3 years from certificate issuance to obtain the literacy endorsement.
    • Teachers who graduate from AZ colleges in 2025 should have completed the coursework and should have the certificate on their licenses.
