Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Operations & CMMS Management

  • Oversee, schedule, and execute all maintenance activities using our CMMS software.
  • Ensure all work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and equipment records are accurately maintained.
  • Identify and implement improvements in maintenance processes.

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Develop and manage daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate with production, facilities, and leadership teams to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Assign tasks to maintenance staff and ensure timely, high quality completion.

Parts & Purchasing Coordination

  • Work closely with the purchasing department to order necessary parts, tools, and materials.
  • Assist with vendor communication and sourcing as needed.

Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain a safety conscious environment while enforcing all company and OSHA safety protocols.
  • Document and address safety concerns or hazards promptly.

Leadership & Communication

  • Lead, train, and develop maintenance technicians.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and support professional growth.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership, technicians, vendors, and other departments.

 

Required Experience

  • Industrial maintenance experience is required in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience managing maintenance teams, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance oversight.
  • Experience using a CMMS for maintenance planning and recordkeeping (preferred but not required).
  • Proven track record of maintaining a safe workplace and enforcing safety standards.

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams.
  • Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
  • Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and basic data reporting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
