As a Barber & Beauty Professional, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents feel their best by providing grooming services such as haircuts, styling, and other beauty services. You will offer personalized care to each resident, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Your role will make a positive impact on their confidence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide haircuts, styling, and grooming services to residents, including special attention to their comfort and needs
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, following all infection control procedures
• Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure exceptional service
• Communicate and collaborate with the nursing team to provide specialized care for residents
• Adapt grooming services to meet the unique needs of each resident, especially those with limited mobility or other health concerns
• Ensure all equipment and workstations are sanitized in accordance with infection prevention protocols

Must Have:

• Valid Barber/Beauty License (required)
• Previous experience providing haircuts and beauty services
• Compassionate, patient, and caring approach to working with elderly residents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting
• Specialized skills in other beauty services (e.g., nail care, skin care)
• Knowledge of infection control practices and ability to follow sanitation procedures
