Job Description:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures unit standards for quality and productivity.
- Checks proper assembly and installation of each unit and parts (i.e., depending on assignment: proper installment of EVAP coils/compressors proper assembly of bases/posts, filter racks, blowers, condensers, control board; all motors are proper voltage; all brazing procedures are followed; correct charging of unit and charging procedures are followed; etc.)
- Trains team members on assembling and installing sub-assembly components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.
- Keeps and maintains up-to-date information on unit schedules and assembly/quality procedures.
- Schedules production time to meet targets.
- Prints and verifies correctness of work order packets.
- Confirms availability of necessary parts (i.e., depending on assignment: sensors, valves, switches, motors, economizer assembly parts, controllers, relays, contactors, fuses, filters, doors, roof panels, etc.)
- Approves paperwork for sub-assemblies and end-of-line checks (blower assembly, condensers, wiring, copper, assembly and wiring of economizer, final wire, HXC, power exhaust assembly, pre-wire). For end of line, check all paperwork and ensure all areas have been signed off by all QTLs.
- Stays updated on assembly procedures and equipment.
- Enforces warehouse safety and housekeeping standards.
- Inspects blueprints and assembly drawings.
- Communicates effectively with management and team.
- Monitors work environments and uses hand tools.
- Performs minor repairs and adjustments as required.
- Provides production backup support as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:
18 years or older.
High school diploma or equivalent. Education beyond the minimum is an added advantage for career development activities.

- Perform each essential job function satisfactorily.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
- Assess work accuracy and quality, including color detection.
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English language.
Physical Demands:
- Stand still for 95% of the time.
- Move objects up to 25-50 pounds in all directions.
- Navigate manufacturing facility.
- Operate heavy equipment and tools.
- Perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Climb ladders, stairs, etc.
- Work in various positions and tight spaces.
