Responsibilities

  • Assist the doctor during a variety of endodontic procedures.
  • Greet and accompany patients for treatment to ensure their comfort.
  • Sterilize, maintain, and organize instruments and prepare treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
  • Capture dental X-rays and other scans as needed.
  • Enter and complete patient chart notes and documentation.
  • Performing office administrative tasks that require the use of a computer.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Dental Assistant experience is highly preferred.
  • Registered Dental Assistant certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
  • X-ray and Nitrous Oxide Monitoring certifications are preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
