BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operation of GECU’s facilities and equipment. This position involves performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems plus performing preventive maintenance tasks and responding to maintenance orders promptly to minimize downtime.

TYPICAL DUTIES
Performs preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.

Diagnoses technical issues and determines appropriate solutions.

Maintains and restores functionality across critical infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, through targeted component repair or replacement.

Uses diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and fix issues

Ensures compliance with all safety standards.

Responds promptly to emergency maintenance requests.

Provides on-call support as needed to address urgent issues outside of regular working hours.

Follows proper driving and safety regulations while operating company vehicle.

Maintain and understand compliance to ensure that work complies with GECU’s established policies, procedures and applicable regulations, to include Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering Act (AML) addressing Money Laundering and the Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), Member Identification Program (MIP), and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC).

Other duties as may be assigned or required in connection with the general operation of the credit union.
