Description: Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a Special Education Teacher to be split between Falcon Heights Elementary and Central Park Elementary. The licensed Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction aligned to the state standards to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities; evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives; follows state-mandated due process procedures and functions as IEP Manager to assigned students; collaborates with general education staff including co-teaching assignment; communicates regularly with parents/guardians; schedules students and paraprofessionals; supervises paraprofessionals. The candidate should possess strong instructional skills centered in cultural responsiveness; demonstrated commitment to developing lessons and instruction centered in racial and cultural responsiveness; demonstrated interest and effectiveness in working with elementary students; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively; and demonstrated use of formative assessments to assess and plan for student learning. This is a 1.0 FTE position starting August 24, 2026.

Qualifications:
Compensation: Minimum full-year, full-time starting salary for this position is $53,085, plus a district contribution toward health and dental insurance.
