About the Position

We are currently hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities in Frederick County, MD.

As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with clients implementing treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our team focuses on assent-based, compassionate ABA therapy that helps children build communication, social, and daily living skills.

Services are provided in homes, schools, and community settings.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

  • High school diploma (bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred).

  • One year minimum of working with individuals with autism, developmental delays, or behavioral challenges.

  • Experience with online data collection programs preferred.

  • Efficient written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of ABA.

  • Must submit to a federal and state background check.

  • Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, squat, run, or stand for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to push, pull, lift, move, and carry up to 35 lbs.

  • Reliable mode of transportation and ability to travel up to 45 minutes.

  • Current first aid and CPR certifications and willingness to complete background checks.

  • Afternoon/Evening availability
