Position Summary



An Aerial Foreman, often associated with the telecommunications or construction industry, is a managerial position responsible for overseeing and coordinating the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial infrastructure. This may include overhead cables, wires, or other components necessary for the functioning of communication systems, power lines, or similar structures. This is a safety sensitive position.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities




  • Plan and schedule aerial construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met.

  • Lead and supervise a team of technicians, linemen, or construction workers involved in aerial installations and maintenance.

  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently.

  • Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.

  • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.

  • Oversee the procurement, inventory, and maintenance of necessary equipment and materials.

  • Ensure that all tools and machinery are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the integrity and reliability of aerial installations.

  • Conduct inspections to verify workmanship and compliance with specifications.

  • Interact with clients, addressing their concerns and providing updates on project progress.

  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to meet client expectations and project requirements.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or challenges that arise during aerial construction projects.

  • Make decisions to keep projects on track and within scope.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department.
