Summary:
The Club currently seeks a Server to contribute to our environment of excellence through attentive table service, knowledge of fine dining, and a commitment to the high standards of a luxury fine dining setting. The outstanding Taproom Server candidate is polished, personable, and outgoing, with a customer-first approach. A successful applicant to this position will bring a passion for elevated service, cuisine, and luxury hospitality to the role.
Requirements:
Able to efficiently set formal tables.
Present menu, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food, appetizers and wines.
Recall individual Member preferences, favorites, and special requests.
Accurate written order-taking.
Rapidly relay food and beverage orders to kitchen and bar.
Serve members and guests their meals according to Club rules and high standards of etiquette.
Ensure a seamless dining experience throughout the meal, from initial seating to prompt removal of china and cutlery.
Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when the meal has been completed.
Correctly charge Member or guest accounts for services.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum one year full-table fine dining server experience
High-energy, outgoing personality with strong professional interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail.
Possesses a passion for exceeding member expectations and a commitment to excellence that results in providing the highest quality member and guest experience.
Flexible attitude for given tasks and adjustment of schedule when needed.
Knowledge of gourmet food and fine wine.
Full-time availability, including weekends and select holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
