Job Description: Radiographer (BARC Level‑1 Certified)

Role: CT‑Scan Operation & AERB Radiation Safety Compliance

Location : Narsapura, Kolar

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Phoenix V|300 Baker Hughes CT‑Scan system.
• Complete all assigned CT scans on time with accurate reconstruction and file submission.
• Ensure proper shielding, radiation level monitoring, and adherence to AERB guidelines.
• Report equipment abnormalities and operational issues promptly to the RSO.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks including X‑ray tube filament replacement.
• Use VG Studio for processing and reconstruction.
• Follow all RSO instructions on radiation safety and compliance.
• Proper handling of TLDs, survey meters, and radiation instruments.
• Coordinate vendor maintenance and ensure reliable day‑to‑day CT operation.
• Provide basic radiation safety training when required.
• Must have an AERB eLORA Login ID.

Qualification

• 3‑year Diploma in Science/Engineering/Radiography.
• BARC Level‑1 certification (mandatory).
