Position Summary
Crow Holdings is seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate Counsel to support the General Counsel and work closely with other senior attorneys across the enterprise. The ideal candidate brings strong real estate, corporate and general transactional experience, and is comfortable working across a wide range of legal matters in a collaborative, in‑house environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide general corporate, real estate and general transactional legal support and advice to Crow Holdings and affiliated entities and day‑to‑day legal guidance to business teams on routine corporate and operational matters
- Support business teams on complex real estate transactions, including joint ventures, financings, acquisitions, dispositions and daily matters, under the direction of the General Counsel and senior attorneys, including coordinating due diligence and internal approval processes
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including services, consulting, technology, operational and confidentiality agreements
- Assist with entity governance and maintenance matters, including documentation, approvals, and internal recordkeeping
- Coordinate with and help oversee outside counsel on real estate transactions, financings and other complex matters
- Interface with and advise principals, family stakeholders, senior leadership and affiliated entities on legal matters, demonstrating the ability to navigate sensitive situations
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and drafting related to policies, procedures, and enterprise legal initiatives
- Support monitoring of routine litigation and claims matters across the enterprise
Skills and Experience
- D. degree from an accredited law school and strong academic credentials
- Active license to practice law in Texas (or ability to become licensed promptly)
- 5+ years of experience as a general corporate or transactional attorney, preferably at a major law firm
- Demonstrated experience supporting real estate transactions and working with transactional deal teams
- Exposure to joint ventures, co-investment structures, or complex deal structuring is preferred but not required
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with sound business judgment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with senior attorneys, business leaders, and external counsel
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with exceptional attention to detail and ability to consider alternative solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while adhering to strict deadlines
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Experience with legal technology and familiarity with emerging technologies, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, accuracy and workflow management
