Job Description

Description

Do you enjoy being out in the community, meeting new people, and helping neighbors discover better technology solutions? Are you motivated by turning conversations into real results—and real earnings?

Socket Fiber is hiring a Neighborhood Sales Specialist to join our residential sales team. In this role, you’ll work directly within targeted neighborhoods, connecting with homeowners and introducing them to the benefits of Socket’s fiber internet. You’ll build relationships, educate residents, and close sales that make a meaningful impact in your community.

If you don’t mind a few extra steps in your day—and enjoy turning front porch conversations into wins—this door-to-door role might be your perfect fit.

No prior sales or telecom experience required—we provide the training. We’re looking for motivated, coachable individuals who are ready to grow.

Compensation: Guaranteed base pay + uncapped commission with clear milestones

Location: Field-based role in the Columbia, Missouri area, including Columbia, Fulton, Prathersville, Sturgeon, Centralia, Ashland, Hallsville, Harrisburg, Boonville, Rocheport, Huntsdale, and Millersburg

What a Typical Day Looks Like

You’ll begin your day reviewing your assigned neighborhood and checking in on follow-up opportunities. Then you’ll head out into the community—walking neighborhoods, engaging residents, and having real conversations at the doorstep.

Some homeowners will be ready to sign up right away, while others may need additional information or a follow-up visit. You’ll track your activity, stay energized, and keep building momentum. Evening hours and occasional Saturdays are part of the role to maximize homeowner availability.

This is your territory to develop—with support from a team that wants you to succeed.
