Job Description
Attindas Hygiene Partners designs, manufactures, and markets absorbent hygiene products. The company sells adult incontinence and infant diapers, among other products, into the healthcare, retail, and direct-to-consumer channels under brands including Attends, Indas, and Comfees as well as a wide range of private label brands for retailers.

Key responsibilities and percentage of time spent on each:                                                                 
  • Lead cost savings initiatives for the plant to include execution, progress tracking and impact to financial results.
  • Participate in preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets – including Manufacturing Spend & Labor Models.
  • Lead efforts to understand fluctuations in material usage variances.
  • Completes monthly inventory capitalization analysis for Attends and drives improvements to properly value inventories on a monthly basis.
  • Review plant results with Leadership and complete follow-up requirements in order to timely report monthly financial results.
  • Review budget/forecast vs. actual spend, by account, with plant department managers to discuss and explain variances.
  • Ensure month-end close deadlines related to plant items are met.  Analyze plant-related general ledger accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of balances.
  • Deliver accurate and timely monthly plant reports specifically tracking and validation of Key Performance Indicators.
  • Develop ad-hoc reports and costing scenarios, as needed, for both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure that plant internal controls are adequate and adhered to.  Examples include physical inventory counts for FG, RM, and spare parts.
  • Provide analytical support to the Plant Manager as requested.
  • Review and prepare Capex Appropriation Requests for propriety and payback.
  • Act as a liaison between the plant personnel and divisional personnel for accounting-related issues.
  • Assist in establishing operating procedures and reporting tools that allow management to make informed business decisions.
  • Member of plant leadership team as an active participant in plant leadership processes and meetings as defined by the Plant Manager.
  • Champions plant leadership team ideas and concerns to North American Finance team.
  • Train and support plant personnel on accounting related procedures.
  • Assist in annual audit review and SOX compliance for internal and external auditors.
  • Assist in calculating annual standard cost updates for plant conversion costs.
 
  • Review financial transactions and apply accounting theory and principles to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable laws, rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead, participate and ensure accurate reporting of special projects or perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Professional Experiences
Years of Experience/Education/Certifications:  
 
•           Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related field.
•           3– 5 years in a manufacturing environment within an accounting role.
•           Mastery skill level and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
•           Analytical skills required.
 
Preferred Qualifications/Professional Experiences/Years of Experience:   
 
•           Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Accounting/Finance; CPA/CMA License
•           Knowledge of Oracle Financial Systems preferred
