Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Coordinate production workflows for one or multiple products 
  • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimal delays 
  • Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to fulfill production demand 
  • Assign workers and other staff to specific production operations 
  • Schedule shifts according to production requirements 
  • Monitor jobs to ensure on-time completion and adherence to budget constraints 
  • Address issues as they arise, aiming for minimal disruption 
  • Gather output data (number of finished products, percentage of defectives, etc.) 
  • Prepare and submit status and performance reports 
  • Maintain organized documentation 
  • Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff members 

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • To carry out all duties in accordance with the Quality Assurance procedures and departmental works instructions. 
  • To contribute to general improvements in the quality of key activities within the department. 
  • Comply with all Keystone Tower Systems Company and HSE procedures and policies. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Further education or certification is preferred 
  • Experience with MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning) 
  • Experience in a factory manufacturing environment preferred 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems 
  • Strong mathematical and statistical abilities 
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts preferred 
  • Proven experience as a production planner 
  • Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
