Essential Functions:
Able to supervise children.
- Plans and implements program activities that are culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate and consistent with YMCA core values.
- Adheres to program standards including safety and cleanliness.
- Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies.
- Be able to exercise proper judgement when dealing with a group of children.
- Be able to exercise proper judgement when dealing with staff.
- Must be open and receptive to constructive criticism, when it is for the benefit of the program, or the staff members growth and development.
