POSITION OVERVIEW
Prepare and serve beverages for servers and guests in a speedy, efficient, friendly, and professional manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare drinks for the guests and servers, ensure that the proper materials and supplies are on hand, and talk to guests.
• Ensure that minors and intoxicated people are not served alcoholic beverages.
• Provide guests with the best possible service skills and charm, while maintaining a professional distance, using FORBES and Ranch at Laguna Beach standards.
• Make all beverages to The Ranch standards and specifications.
• Act as the cashier for the servers when necessary.
• Properly secure all payment and complete cashier report at the end of shift.
• Ensure guests are staying at the resort by verifying guest name and room number.
• Set up and take down of station including stocking of all beverages & glassware.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area through disposing of all waste, clearing and cleaning all glassware, and wiping down bar and preparation areas.
• Provide opening and closing inventory of spirits. Fill out requisitions and all necessary paperwork at the end of each shift.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of The Ranch:
• Assist servers and other bartenders when necessary.
• Participate in the deep cleaning of the Pond Bar and pool area.
