This entry-level role involves monitoring and addressing daily and emerging issues at both the product and value stream levels. This individual collaborates closely with production and support teams to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Additionally, they enhance manufacturing processes by analyzing design requirements and production methods. This position requires simultaneous coordination with design engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure process capability and production readiness.
Essential Functions:
- Drive safety and ergonomic improvements to processes
- Train production on new processes
- Assist with validation of processes involving continuous improvement projects
- Sourcing and implementing tool requests
- Auditing processes to verify BOM structure matches materials point of use in production (Epicor)
- Track improvements and calculate efficiency gains in spreadsheets (Excel)
- Communicate improvements in PowerPoint for presentations
- Communicates with engineers and production to address and resolve questions/issues
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Establishes part presentation and delivery method from warehouse to Point of Use (POU)
- Willingness to learn and use AutoCAD
- Ensure proper fixtures, templates, and jigs are available for production

- Must be able to demonstrate basic PowerPoint fundamentals.

- Basic understanding of BOM structure and reading manufacturing prints
- Must be able to use inspection and measurement equipment (tapes, calipers, gauges, etc.) Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
Minimum Requirements:
- HS diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- A combination of education and/or work experience equal to 2 years will also be considered.
- Prior training on manufacturing processes needed.
- Knowledge of multiple products/conversions and processes preferred
