Emergency Medicine Physician– Intermittent provider

 

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) seeks an emergency medicine physician to join our team of 15 physicians as an intermittent provider at the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) in Anchorage, Alaska. As a 182-bed Level II Trauma Center, ANMC serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the state. With over 30 specialties, we provide a full complement of acute medical and primary care services. Our unique patient population, breathtaking geography and cohesive team make this a one-of-a-kind practice opportunity!

In this role you will evaluate and manage adult and pediatric emergency room patients in a 30 bed emergency department. Approximately 28,000 visits per year. While also leading a collegial team of ER Physicians and PA’s.

Work Schedule: ER Physicians work intermittent 10 hour shifts.

Qualifications: Completion of an ACGME/AOA approved residency in emergency medicine; BE/BC in emergency medicine; collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
