Job Description

Interstate Therapy Solutions (part of the Confluent Health family) is seeking a reliable individual to join our team as a Front Desk Coordinator in Canyon County!

In this role, you will support both patients and clinical staff by managing front office operations in a fast-paced outpatient physical therapy setting. Responsibilities include assisting patients in person and over the phone, coordinating and organizing appointments, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure a smooth and efficient clinic experience while supporting high-quality patient care.

  • Schedule: M-F 9:30am-6pm
  • Pay Rate: $21-$26/Hour BOE
  • Required: Prior front office experience in a physical therapy clinic or similar outpatient healthcare setting
  • Preferred: Experience working within a hospital-based or hospital-affiliated provider environment

You’ll Achieve Success By: 

  • Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination, while delivering exceptional customer service 
  • Verify insurance, process authorizations, and collect payments to ensure smooth billing and patient access to care 
  • Maintain accurate patient records by registering new patients, updating information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, and preparing necessary documents 
  • Answer phone calls, assist patients, and uphold HIPAA compliance, ensuring a welcoming and professional healthcare experience 
  • one year experience in healthcare physical therapy department is desirable but not required
  • knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis
  • knowledge of computer and relevant software applications
  • knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
  • working knowledge of healthcare in a therapy department preferred
  • working knowledge of healthcare insurance preferred
