NCSS is seeking full-time Residential Support Staff to join our dedicated and supportive teams within our 24/7 Residential Programs. These programs serve adults with severe and persistent mental illness, offering person-centered care in stable, therapeutic living environments.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Creating a safe, respectful, and supportive home environment
• Assisting residents with daily living skills, including hygiene, meal preparation, and household routines
• Implementing individualized, strength-based interventions and support plans
• Supporting residents in community activities and social engagement
• Administering medications and maintaining accurate documentation
• Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and clinical staff
• Driving clients to appointments or community outings using personal vehicle

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience working in residential settings or with individuals with mental health needs
• Is calm under pressure, organized, and a clear communicator
• Brings empathy, patience, and a commitment to supporting others in their recovery journey
• Holds a valid driver's license and has reliable transportation
• Is open to a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overnights

Current Available Shifts:

• Thursdays 12AM - 6AM
• Thursday through Saturday 6PM - 6AM

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree; or equivalent combination of related education, training and experience such as relevant certificate from college or technical school.
