Requirements



Education and Experience Required



Degree in Physical Therapy or related field



State of Ohio Physical Therapist License



Valid CPR Certification or ability to obtain upon hire



Essential Duties:?May be required to do some or all of the following, dependent on the business needs (including but not limited to):



Provide physical therapy evaluations both in the outpatient and inpatient setting.



Work collaboratively with PTAs and other disciplines to provide excellent patient care



Provide a Physical Therapy program which will: improve, develop or restore functions impaired or lost through illness, injury or deprivation and improve ability to perform tasks for independent functioning



Direct and supervise the activities of the Physical Therapy Assistant.



Comply with local, state and federal regulations regarding due process, confidentiality and other pertinent procedures.



Maintain an efficient and effective schedule



Maintain required certificate(s) and/or license(s).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



Competent use of computer systems and software



Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 Coding.



Customer service skills for interacting and communicating with patients and family members of diverse ages and backgrounds.



Ability to work well in a team environment.



Problem-solving skills to research and resolve discrepancies



A calm manner and patience working with patients and their families



Maintaining patient confidentiality as per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).



Ability to multitask.



Ability to work under minimal supervision.



Possess a valid Driver?s License and reliable transportation
