Description

The Cardinal Place Aide provides safe and nurturing care for school-aged children before and after school hours. This position involves supervising students during activities, ensuring a positive and structured environment, and assisting with age-appropriate games and learning opportunities. The Cardinal Place Aide supports students’ social, emotional, and physical needs while fostering a positive atmosphere and building strong relationships with children and their families.

 

Requirements

  • Basic child development educational background or knowledge preferred.

  • Willingness to work with and show respect for students.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Demonstrated communication skills, patience, and flexibility.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Ability to follow the Site Supervisor or Coordinator’s plan and direction, and communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.

Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of Cardinal Place Aide. 

 

The Cardinal Place Aide provides safe and nurturing care for school-aged children before and after school hours. This position involves supervising students during activities, ensuring a positive and structured environment, and assisting with age-appropriate games and learning opportunities. Benefits

Benefits for this position are limited due to the limited and variable nature of the role.  Benefits may be adjusted as the role becomes a long-term position.

  • Sick Leave/Earned Safe & Sick Time - Earn 1 hour for every 30 hours worked
