The Special Education Paraprofessional supports students with disabilities by assisting teachers in delivering instruction, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and providing academic, behavioral, and personal support as needed. The paraprofessional helps create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Hours are Monday-Thursday 7:45-3:45 daily with vacation and retirement benefits and other benefits offered.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Ability to work effectively with students with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to complete required training and background checks
Compensation:
- Hourly rate based on district pay scale - starting at $16.00/hr
