    COMPENSATION:$55 per hour; up to 200 hours  
    DESCRIPTION:CVUHSD was recently awarded a Golden State Pathways Program (GSPP) Planning grant to support the district in exploring building two new CTE pathways based on data gathered from both the middle school surveys and the labor market. The CCAP Pathway Development Lead will continue the research done through the GSPP grant to support the implementation of a new Data/Computer Science career pathway. This role involves program planning, collaboration with site administration and current CTE pathways, communicating with secondary and post-secondary partners, alignment of curriculum with college pathways, marketing, recruitment and coordination with industry partners. The position requires work over the summer and throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
    • Current teaching credential in a relevant subject area (preferred: Data/Computer Science, Math, or CTE-related field)
    • Experience with pathway development, curriculum alignment, or dual enrollment programs
    • Strong collaboration and communication skills
    • Familiarity with post-secondary institutions and career-connected learning is a plus
    • Teacher at Leuzinger High School 26-27

    Key Responsibilities

    Program Development & Planning

    • Collaborate with ECC and CSUDH partners to align high school coursework with post-secondary pathways.
    • Conduct program mapping for each grade level, identifying skills, supports, experiences, and coursework to support student mastery.
    • Identify dual enrollment courses and potential certificate programs.
    • Attend the CVUHSD Pathway Retreat to inform development work.

    Collaboration & Outreach

    • Meet with contacts in post-secondary schools (e.g., CSUDH, LMU, CSLB, etc.) with Education and Computer Science departments to ensure pathway alignment.
    • Coordinate with ECC partners to identify faculty at both the high school and post-secondary levels involved in the pathway.
    • Work with CTEPS and SBWIB to identify intermediary resources and opportunities for industry engagement.

    Marketing & Communication

    • Partner with the Director of Marketing to develop promotional materials for the new pathway.
    • Meet with site counselors and administration to present the pathway sequence, skills students will gain, and available opportunities.

    Dual Enrollment & Curriculum Integration

    • Ensure dual enrollment courses are properly aligned and requested for the following academic year.
    • Collaborate with ECC to implement dual enrollment courses and potential certificate programs
