Elementary Math Interventionist / Byron Primary & Byron Intermediate Schools
Byron Primary & Intermediate School is accepting applications for a highly qualified, licensed K-5 General Education instructor to teach instructional interventions in Mathematics to support students who are not at grade level benchmark.

Description: This interventionist teacher will work to ensure high levels of mathematical understanding and implementation with students at both Byron Primary & Intermediate Schools. The teacher will travel between buildings and work with small groups of students who require additional math support. Working knowledge of Minnesota State Standards
Work within a standards based grading framework.
Engage all students in attaining a personalized learning experience through thoughtful planning and high levels of instructional pedagogy so that students are able to create and think critically.

Provide students with quality feedback through rubrics, scales and assessment.

Maintain professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the school and/or in self-selected professional growth activities
Select, instructional materials, tools, and instructional aids, and maintain required inventory records.
Ability to create lessons that build math confidence in young learners
Skilled at developing and teaching research based math interventions
Strong skills in data collection, use of data to drive instruction and sharing data with grade level teams, administration and families.
Familiar with utilizing FASTbridge assessments.
Strong technology skills, (Google for Education, Apps, iPads-Apple, SeeSaw)
Serve on the building's MTSS team.
Support district extracurricular and coaching positions as needed.
