Position Summary
Reliance Medical Transport is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to help expand our non-government business throughout our service regions. This role is focused on developing referral relationships, generating new accounts, and increasing transportation volume from hospitals, dialysis centers, rehabilitation facilities, nursing facilities, case managers, and related healthcare organizations.
This is a field-based business development role for someone who is energetic, professional, organized, and persistent. The ideal candidate is comfortable building relationships face-to-face, following up consistently, and representing the company in a professional healthcare environment.
The Outside Sales Representative will report directly to the CEO and will play an important role in supporting the continued growth and expansion of Reliance Medical Transport.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, dialysis centers, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare providers
- Conduct regular in-person visits, presentations, and outreach activities within assigned territories
- Identify new business opportunities and support the expansion of non-government transportation services
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective referral partners and accounts
- Track outreach activity, referrals, meetings, and follow-up efforts using company CRM systems and reporting tools
- Coordinate with operations and leadership to ensure service quality and strong customer relationships
- Represent Reliance Medical Transport professionally at networking events, meetings, and community activities
- Assist in gathering market intelligence and identifying competitive opportunities within the healthcare transportation industry
- Meet activity and performance goals established by leadership
- Contribute ideas and feedback to help improve business development processes and customer engagement efforts
- Travel will be required for this position
Qualifications
- Prior experience in outside sales, healthcare marketing, business development, account management, or relationship sales preferred
- Experience working with hospitals, healthcare providers, medical practices, or related industries is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Demonstrated persistence, professionalism, and follow-through
- Comfortable with frequent local travel and in-person relationship development
- Basic proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, email, and reporting tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required for candidates with strong relevant experience
