Position Overview



The Business Office Manager plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the community, serving as both a leader and the face of the front desk. This position combines administrative leadership, financial oversight, and hospitality-driven service.



You will:




  • Work the front desk Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Oversee and support a team of receptionists covering evening and overnight shifts

  • Ensure smooth business office operations including billing, accounts payable/receivable, and onboarding

  • Help create a welcoming, professional, and kindness-driven culture for residents, families, and team members

Key Responsibilities



Front Desk & Customer Experience




  • Serve as the primary point of contact and first impression for all residents, guests, and prospective residents

  • Create a warm, welcoming, and hospitality-driven environment where kindness is evident in every interaction

  • Support the sales experience by engaging with prospects and contributing to positive tours and visits



Leadership & Team Support




  • Oversee and support reception staff across evening and overnight shifts

  • Train, coach, and ensure consistency in front desk operations and service standards

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and kindness



Business Office Operations




  • Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and resident billing

  • Ensure timely rent collection and accurate financial processing

  • Maintain organized and compliant financial and administrative records



Onboarding & HR Support




  • Oversee the onboarding process for new team members, including paperwork and orientation

  • Partner with department leaders to ensure new hires are properly trained, welcomed, and supported during their first 30 days

  • Help create a positive and engaging employee experience



Administrative Support




  • Support the Executive Director with administrative and operational tasks

  • Assist in maintaining efficient and organized business office functions

  • Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus

Compensation




  • $45,000 – $55,000 annually, depending on experience
