Req and business outcomes:

 

  • Business Development role for China Cloud
  • Targeting Beijing location, open to other locations for right candidate
  • Initial focus is BBAT (Byte-dance, Baidu, Alibaba and Tencent), subsequently Tier2 Clouds and Govt sponsored Clouds
  • Existing relationships, with design-in experience into BBAT+ also selling motion, quota retirement history in these hyper-scalers
  • Exposure and understanding of Networking/Security solutions - initial product engagements will be Gateway class products 
  • Ideally technical background understanding networking infrastructure at system level who is focused on driving Business results. Network IO also of interest (to a lesser extent)
  • Pursuing candidates who are naturally curious about next generation Cloud/DC network architectures and evolution of DC topologies/architectures. Pensando is delivering the future of DC networking architecture
  • Motivated and driven go-getter who can navigate and push through unforeseen/all obstacles to secure business goals. 
  • Engage and utilize Pensando HQ resources to fulfill all necessary tasks to achieve business goals across the Customer base
  • Ability to digest high level customer opportunities/use cases, navigate + discover new business opportunities across adjacent BUs within Clouds to present back to Pensando HQ
  • Secure design-ins with support from local CSE and HQ resources. Ultimately retire quota against those design-ins
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English,
  • Ability to travel for business needs within China, and international as business needs dictate
  • Available for US HQ time-zone dialogue as business needs dictate
