Job Description

Access Health Louisiana (AHL) is seeking a passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our School-Based Health Center team. This is more than a counseling role. It’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact on students, families, and communities that need it most. The work schedule for this position will follow the school break schedule.

Responsibilities:




  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide individual, group, and family therapy to students. 

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, school personnel, and referral sources to coordinate holistic care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely case documentation, updating records as needed.

  • Identify and report special cases such as child abuse, neglect, or truancy to appropriate authorities and provide follow-up counseling.

  • Actively contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on improving student health outcomes.

  • Uphold AHL’s mission of delivering care with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity.



Qualifications and Experience




  • Master’s Degree from an accredited school of social work

  • Current licensure in good standing in the state of Louisiana

  • Prior outpatient treatment experience
