POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounting Services Support Analyst is responsible for all Shared Services initial contact classification, routing, and resolution.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
May perform any or all of the following duties:
- Ensures successful classification, routing, and resolution of inquiries and issues
- Classifies routes, and/or resolves all inquiries (email/phone) timely and accurately.
- Understands all high-level processes for: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Lease Accounting, Lease Administration, Fixed Assets, and Payroll
- Answers as many inquiries as possible, and when not possible, routes the contacts to the correct department/team member
- Takes all departmental phone calls and shares email inboxes. Resolves if possible, or routes and follows up to confirm resolution
- Maintains Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Performance Metrics as assigned
- Demonstrates oral and written communication skills; communicates effectively with various contacts (internal and external)
- Attends training to remain current on industry trends
- Participates in company meetings, webinars and conference calls
- Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES
- Must possess approximately one (1) to three (3) years of any combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of accounts payable/receivable experience in a Shared Services Support or Help Desk environment
- BA/BS Degree preferred
- PeopleSoft experience preferred
- Working knowledge of various Shared Services Disciplines (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Lease Accounting, Lease Administration, Fixed Assets, and Payroll)
- Must have excellent customer service skills and demonstrate exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Must display strong analytical and organizational skills and have the ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies with positive business results
- Must have a strong work ethic and a high level of confidentiality to ensure proper handling of sensitive information

- Constant interaction with internal and external partners by phone and/or electronic communications
