Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounting Services Support Analyst is responsible for all Shared Services initial contact classification, routing, and resolution.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

May perform any or all of the following duties:

  • Ensures successful classification, routing, and resolution of inquiries and issues
  • Classifies routes, and/or resolves all inquiries (email/phone) timely and accurately.
  • Understands all high-level processes for: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Lease Accounting, Lease Administration, Fixed Assets, and Payroll
  • Answers as many inquiries as possible, and when not possible, routes the contacts to the correct department/team member
  • Takes all departmental phone calls and shares email inboxes. Resolves if possible, or routes and follows up to confirm resolution
  • Maintains Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Performance Metrics as assigned
  • Demonstrates oral and written communication skills; communicates effectively with various contacts (internal and external)
  • Attends training to remain current on industry trends
  • Participates in company meetings, webinars and conference calls
  • Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements

         

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Must possess approximately one (1) to three (3) years of any combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of accounts payable/receivable experience in a Shared Services Support or Help Desk environment
  • BA/BS Degree preferred
  • PeopleSoft experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of various Shared Services Disciplines (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Lease Accounting, Lease Administration, Fixed Assets, and Payroll)
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and demonstrate exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Must display strong analytical and organizational skills and have the ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies with positive business results
  • Must have a strong work ethic and a high level of confidentiality to ensure proper handling of sensitive information 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Restaurant Support Center that is fast-paced, high volume of activity, and deadline-driven environment

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Constant interaction with internal and external partners by phone and/or electronic communications
  • Sitting for extended periods of time, using the telephone, typing, and/or operating a computer and/or mouse
  • Interactive verbal and listening skills for extended periods
