Job Description

Overview



SCCI is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst I to join our team in support of a Rapid Acquisition Weapon System Program. Our Configuration Management (CM) Analysts interface with other engineering functional areas (i.e. Software Developers, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Test, and Safety) providing configuration management support across multiple projects. This position will be located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:




  • Collaborating with BMS Software CM Lead to ensure rigorous tracking of software versioning

  • Scheduling, facilitating, and documenting Control Board meetings and ticket adjudications

  • Processing data deliveries and distributing them to stakeholders

  • Applying knowledge of CM best practices to ensure all BMS software builds are conducted in accordance with documented procedures  

  • Preparing, posting, and tracking software file deliveries and associated documentation via various delivery methods

  • Participating in continued BMS process improvement meetings including but not limited to software development, CM, and BMS Configuration Control Boards  

  • Participating in CM review and quality control of BMS documentation

  • Adapting to changing technologies, processes, and organization requirements
