    WAGES: $17.69/hr. 
    Hours: Afternoon (7:45AM to 12:15PM)

    Position Open from June 8th thru July 31st


    Duties & Responsibilities: (Essential Functions of Position, Major Responsibilities, Summary of Key Duties, Special Assignments, Relationships)

     Assist students with personal hygiene, nutrition, comfort, and safety issues.
    Provide general/Emergent care to students as director or delegated by the Registered Nurse and building administration.
    Prepare and administer medication as directed by the student's physician
    Monitor students for allergic reactions and follow individual health care plans or district procedures
    Respond to health-related phone calls and parent questions
    Monitor and check for head lice when required
    Prepare and monitor health records
    Maintain daily Med Administration and daily nursing office visits in Infinite Campus
    Correspond with parents when appropriate
    Complete staff/student injury forms as needed
    Perform other service or clerical duties as assigned by the Registered Nurse or school administrator(s)
    Must be willing to attend trainings and complete trainings to assume the duties and responsibilities of the position yearly.
    Additional duties and responsibilities may include catheterization, tube feeding, use of electronic blood pressure equipment, use of a pulse oximeter, use of a peak flow meter and provide care to students needing medication such as diastatic, intranasal versed, glucagon, insulin, and epi-pen.
    Must hold the Infant/Child/Adult CPR certificate prior to start date and remain current
    Must hold a Mandatory Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Reporter Certificate prior to start date and remain current
    Per DHS Guidelines this Children's Village position requires a background check every two (2) years, FBI fingerprinting check every four (4) years, and completed Physical every three (3) years.
    Must complete Universal Precaution and Exposure Training prior to start date and remain current
    Must be willing to complete the training and obtain the Medication Administration Certificate and remain current
