As the Outreach Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through: 

  • Unloads shipments of food
  • Maintains kitchen and pantry clean and organized
  • Assists volunteers with menu preparation taking into account what is available at the Regional Food Bank
  • Works with peers to document services provided and to complete all other monthly reporting requirements
  • Acts as a support to peers to ensure adequate coverage on all scheduled days of operation
  • Collaborates with peers and volunteers on special projects such as holiday projects including Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas as appropriate at varying sites
  • Collaborates with peers and volunteers on back to school supply distribution projects as appropriate

 

Outreach Coordinator Minimum Salary: $20.00 

Outreach Coordinator Maximum Salary: $20.00

Outreach Coordinator Schedule: 25 hours per week

  • Mon-Thurs with an occasional Saturday (9am-1pm)
  • Mon/Wed/Thurs (8 am-3:30pm) and Tues (9am-1pm)

 

Qualifications: 

  • Associate Degree in Human Services or a related field
  • 1-3 years’ experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of community resources, experience with low-income population
  • MUST have:
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Access to a reliable vehicle
