The HR Executive Advisor (EA) serves as a seasoned strategic partner to HR leaders, combining contextual HR expertise with McLean & Company's research, diagnostics, and benchmarking data to help clients drive measurable organizational outcomes. The EA helps clients prioritize what matters most, turn research-backed strategies into functional impact, and ensure full McLean membership value is realized against their most pressing HR and business priorities.
Main Responsibilities
- Building trusted advisory relationships with clients, serving as a dedicated strategic partner who contextualizes McLean research to their specific organizational priorities and challenges.
- Conducting in-depth discovery with each client to understand their organizational priorities and developing tailored strategic guidance that applies the right McLean research, diagnostics, and frameworks to their specific context; bridging access to content with actionable outcomes.
- Proactively partnering with the Sales team to ensure client focus, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring account health, as well as joining proof-of-concept calls.
- Providing proactive, ongoing strategic advisory touchpoints (at minimum quarterly) to track progress against client priorities, surface emerging challenges, and continuously apply McLean research to where it will have the greatest organizational impact.
- Delivering strategic advisory sessions on priority HR topics; leading diagnostic debriefs to translate data into clear organizational action; and facilitating discussions that connect McLean research to clients' specific initiative priorities.
- Facilitating McLean & Company webinars and roundtables for members and prospects, primarily in a virtual setting.
- Providing insight to the broader HR Research team on client needs and HR industry trends.
- Managing a defined book of business, with accountability for retention, account health, and identifying growth opportunities through deep client partnership.

- Occasional candidate interviews, research input, and new team member mentoring.
Required Qualifications
