Position Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant plays a key role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. This provider will assess, diagnose, and support treatment planning while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, evaluations, and ongoing treatment planning
- Provide care and support for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, including MAT services
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Exercise sound clinical judgment and maintain confidentiality in all interactions
Qualifications:
- Current and active Ohio Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- CPR certification required
- Completion of required continuing medical education (CME)
- Strong organizational, communication, and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment
- Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred
