✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth!  Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Group Supervisor at the Tuscaloosa Academy for Growth and Change ✨ 

TAGC is a secure residential program for at-risk female youth.  Through our trained programming for staff, TAGC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment, and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, an on-site school, a vocational training program, a medical and an outdoor recreation area. Pay: $50,000.00 annually exempt

What you will do: As a Group Supervisor, you’ll provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program and provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students.  Ensures staff and students adhere to the facility and daily schedule, ensures that the facility (unit, cottage, house, room, dorm, etc.) is on time for all elements, and the students participate in all of the scheduled activities.  Operates assigned shifts effectively and efficiently while maintaining the proper staff-to-student ratio for coverage according to licensing standards.

To be considered, you should: Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.  Have a high school diploma or equivalent. Have a desire to work with troubled teens.  Be able to pass a criminal background check, child abuse registry, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
