Job Description

Founded in 1973, Mighty Taco operates 19 locations across Western New York, serving fast, fresh “Buf-Mex” food with a loyal following known as “Mighty Nation.”




Team Members are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, high-quality food, and a clean, safe environment that sets Mighty Taco apart from other quick-service restaurants.



Key Responsibilities



Customer Service

  • Provide friendly, professional service to customers and team members
  • Accurately take and process orders (front counter or drive-thru, including headset use)
  • Follow cashier procedures, including suggestive selling and order confirmation
  • Handle cash accurately and provide correct change
  • Maintain speed of service (target: 2 minutes or less)
  • Ensure order accuracy and resolve minor customer concerns
  • Follow company dress code



Food Quality

  • Prepare food according to company standards and sanitation guidelines
  • Learn the menu and pass the menu test within the first 15 hours
  • Operate kitchen equipment (ovens, slicers, KDS) safely and correctly
  • Follow portioning and cooking standards to ensure consistency and presentation
  • Maintain all health, safety, and sanitation requirements



Cleanliness

  • Complete assigned cleaning tasks inside (floors, dishes, bathrooms, trash, etc.)
  • Maintain outdoor areas (parking lot, patio, trash areas, walkways, including seasonal upkeep)
