Plans, directs, coordinates, and controls activities of regular and consumer employees workers engaged in assembling, packing and processing of goods by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Manage disabled and/or disadvantaged workers daily. Manage workers in a variety of tasks
according to predetermined work specifications.
· Supply workstations with necessary materials for worker to begin/continue production.
· Implement adjustments and measures to improve production methods, performance and quality of
product to meet production schedules.
· Maintain time and production records, ensures profitability of process.
· Ensure quality and performance standards of the customer by examining materials and products at
various stages of processing for conformance to specifications.
· Monitor various stages of processing for conformance to specifications.
· Maintain confidentiality and HIIPA requirements.
· Ensure on time completion and quality of customer jobs.
· Interfaces with customers to ensure order requirements are met.
· Interfaces with other departments to ensure customer order deadlines are met.
· Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
· Sets up machines, workstations and equipment.
· Reports machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
· Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
· Performs activities of workers supervised.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises +/- 25 production/assembly employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Internet software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid Texas Driver's License with a driving record acceptable to the Agency Automobile Insurance Carrier. Also, must have insurance on personal vehicle meeting minimum liability standards as required by law.
Other Skills and Abilities
Bilingual Spanish skills a plus.
