Front Desk & Client Experience
Greets clients and visitors in a warm, professional, and supportive manner
Serves as the first point of contact for in-person, phone, and electronic inquiries
Maintains a calm, respectful presence while supporting clients with varying needs
Upholds strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
Scheduling & Administrative Support
Schedules, reschedules, and confirms appointments accurately using the EHR system
Manages incoming phone calls and routes messages appropriately
Supports front-office workflows, documentation, and general administrative tasks
Maintains accurate records and clear written communication
Office Operations & Team Support
Assists with day-to-day office operations as needed
Collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Identifies and communicates office needs or concerns to leadership
Maintains a professional, organized, and welcoming front-office environment

Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior receptionist, front-desk, or administrative experience required
Preferred: Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or outpatient clinical settings
Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate in high-pressure situations
Strong interpersonal skills and a client-centered approach

Summary
Compass of Hope is seeking a warm, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator to support our office on a part-time basis. This role is often the first point of contact for clients and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, professional, and supportive environment while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
The ideal candidate is dependable, calm under pressure, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient mental-health setting.
Schedule & Employment Details
Part-Time Schedule: Tuesday 10AM-6PM; Saturday 8AM-4PM (Concord office) Monday 10AM-6PM (Hooksett office)
Employment Type: Non-exempt, hourly
