CREC's Montessori Magnet Schoole seeks a highly committed and dedicated Building Substitute for Pre K3- 6th Grade.
 
Job Summary:
The Building Substitute will be asked to cover classrooms in cases in which the general education teacher is out of the classroom due to illness and or professional development. In the event that there are no general education teachers out of the classroom for the day, the Building Substitute will provide coverage where needed or work with small groups and/or individual students to improve student achievement in Reading/Language Arts and Math. This is a full-time benefits eligible position. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree required and Connecticut teaching certificate desirable
• Candidates must demonstrate strong work ethic, dedication, reliability, and accountability
• Candidates must be highly organized, able to manage a classroom, and have a willingness to be flexible

*Association Montessori International (AMI) trained or in training in an AMI training center preferred
