We're looking for experienced Entity Tax Preparers who are eager to take on challenging tax scenarios, particularly in the business and entity space. This position is ideal for tax professionals ready to move beyond standard returns and into more advanced areas of tax preparation, compliance, and planning.

As our entity services division continues to scale rapidly, this role offers clear opportunities to grow into higher-level advisory work and contribute meaningfully to a developing area of the business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Prepare review, and file complex federal and state tax returns for business entities including Partnerships (1065), Corporations (1120), S-Corps (1120S), Trusts (1041), and related multi-state filings

  • Handle related ancillary filings such as Forms 940, 941, 944, 990, and 2290 with attention to technical accuracy and deadlines

  • Analyze and verify financial data and documentation submitted by clients to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to submission

  • Communicate directly with clients to provide updates, explain filing outcomes, and offer technical guidance where needed

  • Proactively identify tax planning opportunities and support compliance with evolving federal and state tax laws

  • Track productivity and quality metrics, contributing to team and organizational performance goals

Required Qualifications

  • License Requirement: Active PTIN and CTEC, Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA license

  • In-depth understanding of U.S. tax code and filing requirements, especially for business entities

  • Demonstrated experience preparing both individual and complex entity returns

  • Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to review multi-faceted financial data

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly

  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering accurate, compliant work

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year or 2 seasons working in public accounting, tax preparation, or financial auditing

  • Prior exposure to tax resolution or consulting a plus

  • Proficient in leading tax software platforms such as Drake, ProSeries, Lacerte, and Salesforce

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Irvine, CA (onsite)

Pay: From $30-$35/hr

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week + overtime in season
