Student Data Manager


 


TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Non-Exempt, 10-Month Position; Full-Time; 40hr/wk


 


SALARY: NC 04-10


 


QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate required; associates degree in related area preferred; or 5 years of relevant experience involving a large variety of complex duties required; high level of computer proficiency required; ability to work with confidentiality; good communication skills; ability to interpret, analyze and report information; dependable; with good job attendance record with previous employers.


 


DUTIES: Daily maintenance of the student information database to including all aspects of student records (attendance, grades, demographics, class schedules, test scores, immunizations, etc.); prepares correspondence to parents to advise them of excessive absences according to established policies; facilitates transfer of student records between schools; maintains information for Uniform Education Reporting System (UERS) reporting areas; prepares customized reports for local and state needs; when needed will receive telephone calls and greets visitors; other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or Superintendent.
