Summary of the role
The Time to Pay team is responsible for the administration of time keeping activities and for the correct process of European payroll to satisfy our customers (our colleagues)
Role and Responsibilities
Processing of payroll including all necessary follow-up activities in Europe (Germany)
Communication and data exchange with external payroll providers
Master data maintenance and wage account management
Creating certificates and proof of employments
Creation and processing of ELStAM notifications, payroll tax filings, and SV notifications and coordination with the tax office, health insurance
Requesting electronic sickness absences
Ensuring compliance with legal and fiscal requirements
Communication with Health insurances
Contact person and participation in audits by the tax office, the pension insurance, the professional association, the accountants
Contact for all employees with payroll related questions
Creation of reporting for other departments involved
Creation and Reconciliation of Payroll related accruals
General Ledger Account Reconciliation

Completed commercial training
Knowledge of financial accounting
Knowledge of payroll accounting
Knowledge of SV and tax issues and compliance with legal requirements
Analytical thinking and fast learning ability
Communication skills
